Part 1
Write a thoughtful response to ONE (1) of the prompts below. Your response should be, at a minimum, 200 words in length.
Your response(s) should be thoughtful and capacious, and it should address the problems and/or solutions you encountered when completing this writing project. Remember: you do not need to answer each question, and you can answer more than one question if you wish.
- Prompt 1: Look back at the assignment rubric. Which criteria do you think you did particularly well? Which do you feel still needs the most work? Which aspect of the project did you find most difficult to write about? Why?
- Prompt 2: Talk a little about your research process. Where did you first go to find sources? Why there? Where did you go next? How might you revise your approach to research in future projects? What was the most useful source you found? Why?
- Prompt 3: What did you learn while writing and/or researching that you can employ in future writing projects?
- Prompt 4: Was there a part of a Support Session or something from the General Questions forum that helped move you forward? If so, what was it and how did it help move forward with your writing/the major writing project for this module?
- Prompt 5: Which assignments (Orientation, Invention, Drafting) and/or learning materials (Explore) did you find the most useful? Why? Were their assignments you felt were not so helpful? Which ones and why?
Part 2
Write a thoughtful response to ONE (1) of the prompts below. Your response should be, at a minimum, 200 words in length.
Your response(s) should thoughtfully discuss how you incorporated feedback from the Grading Team into your revision process. Remember: you do not need to answer each question, and you can answer more than one if you wish.
- Question 1: How did you incorporate your grader’s feedback into your final draft? Provide a specific example from your writing project. You can use feedback shared with you by your grader from other assignments rather than the rough draft.
- Question 2: What was the most useful piece of feedback you received from the grading team? Why this piece of feedback and how did it help you revise?
- Question 3: Did you receive any feedback that you think will help in future writing assignments (for this class and others)? If so, what was that feedback and why do you think it was helpful?
- Question 4: Did you find any advice in your grader’s announcements* to be particularly useful? What was that advice and how did it help you?
NOTE: These are the Canvas Announcements sent out to your individual learner group, not the ones intermittently sent out by Professors Brown or Conner. For help accessing these Announcements–or any feedback from the Grading Team–check out the “Frequently Asked Questions” page in the “Need Help?” Module.
