SUPER BOWL ASSIGNMENT: (25 points)

1. Super Bowl advertising is a Super business! For example, the average thirty (30) second spot for this Sunday’s Super Bowl is Seven Million dollars ($7,000,000.00).  Watch the commercials as if you work in marketing and advertising for the company (i.e. Doritos, Uber, miscellaneous alcohol company).  Choose two (2) commercials, the first that you can argue for and justify the expense for the company, the second where you feel that the company should not do/have done the commercial at all. Think through potential legal and ethical considerations in making your argument(s) for or against the commercials. (6-8 paragraphs).

“DUMB MONEY” ASSIGNMENT: (30 points)

2.       Please watch the movie, “Dumb Money”, available on NetFlix and other streaming services (approximately an hour and forty-five minutes long).  The movie attempts to portray the Game Stop stock story, in a manner that may have you recall different portions of the course.  First, provide an overview of the movie.  Second, choose a scene or a particular character that faced an ethical decision and/or legal decision, and its impacts.  Attempt to use IRAC as we discussed in class.  Finally, provide your review of the movie and the interaction between the issues in the movie and our class.  (3-5 pages).
