Search your environment by entering a location such as address, zip, city, county, waterbody, park name, etc. Each of you should search your environment by determining what environmental health hazards exist in your communities.
Present your knowledge and awareness by answering the following questions:
- What were your findings, any surprises?
- What are the health implications for populations living in those communities?
- How does the community compare with that of your partner? Compare areas 32803 and 84003.
- How can healthy environments be established and maintained in those communities?
- What are the actual or potential issues that highlight the intersections of equity, social justice, and environmental health?
