Critical Evaluation and Comparative Analysis of Environmental Health Journal Articles

Consider these news headlines:

“Water crisis in local town has led to increases in GI-related diseases.”
“Mesothelioma cases continue to increase in adults who attended public schools in this county.”
“Outbreak of Listeria continues in ice cream manufacturing despite installing increased protocols.”

These news headlines seem quite ordinary in today’s world. However, although advances in public health have dramatically improved living conditions and safety in communities, ongoing challenges remain in preserving, maintaining, and ensuring the public’s safety. Not surprisingly, as advances continue, the relationship between environmental conditions and human health are perhaps more than ever deserving of more attention and critical analysis.
