Over the last 6 weeks, we have taken a look at healthcare policy and politics in the U.S.
For Assignment 3: Critical Analysis of Health Policy Issue Paper, you picked a country and looked at that country’s healthcare policies and how they affected the local, national, and international healthcare levels. This week, you will share your Critical Analysis Paper with your classmates using VoiceThread.
Initial Discussion Post (Due Monday, 2359)
Each of you will create a VoiceThread. Click on the tabbed display called “Creating your VoiceThread Directions” found in the week 7 tab. Follow the directions for creating your VoiceThread. This will be your week 7 discussion “initial post”.
Once you have created it, it will be available for your peers to respond to. All commenting within VoiceThread should be through either audio or video. Please DO NOT make text based comments.
TWO (2) Response Posts (Due Thursday, 2359)
- Replies in VoiceThread should be made with audio or video comments. Please DO NOT make text based comments.
- For each response there should be comments on a minimum of two slides
- Audio and video comments should be limited to 1 – 2 minutes per slide
Students should evaluate their peer’s VT presentations of a country you did not select using the following guidelines:
- Identify any similarities or differences in healthcare policies and issues with the country you chose.
- Address the implications of the local, state, and international policies on practice and identify the pros and cons.
- Share your thoughts and ideas in ways to change policy to improve healthcare practices.
The initial post is due on Monday by 23:59. Please plan your time accordingly.
Note: All courses end on Friday of Week 7. All VoiceThread replies must be completed by Thursday at 2359. In the final week of class all attendance requirements are unchanged, except students can post on three consecutive days.
