Assignment Requirements
You are required to present a 15-minute presentation which incorporates all three learning outcomes (equivalent to 2500 words). There should be a blend of theory and practice. It is essential that the presentation incorporates critical evaluation of key theories as well as linking these principles to your own current workplace or a business-related context of your choosing.
In the presentation you should consider the different factors that impact on organisational behaviour and suggest possible interventions for promoting team and organisational effectiveness. This is an academic presentation and there should be a strong supporting reference in relation to key theories, models, and frameworks of organisational behaviour which you have applied during this module. It should not be about ‘I’ or ‘my’. Rather, it should focus on ‘the organisation’, ‘the team’ etc.
A key requirement is to synthesise, critically evaluate and interpret contemporary organisational practice with an understanding of the different factors that impact on organisational behaviour. The areas which you need to consider:
- Organisational culture
- Organisational development and change
- Organisational effectiveness
- Organisational learning and knowledge management
- Team effectiveness/HR
- People Management
