The Reflective Journal assignment has a flexible submission. The last day to submit this part of the assignment is Saturday 2359 of week 5 though you can submit your work any time before this date as long as you have completed all your practicum hours with your preceptor. This assignment is worth 5% toward the total of 15% of Assignment 3.

Please answer the following questions keeping in mind that this is the only place where we will be able to “see” your practicum patient experiences and the thoughts and feelings around them:
- (Paragraphs 1 and 2) Discuss 2 ways your practicum experience with your preceptor helped you understand how populations require unique care that differs from inpatient nursing (at least 1 paragraph per way).-1 page
- (Paragraphs 3 and 4) Reflect back to your week 1 post to discuss what your expectations were and what the reality was now that you have completed the hours(1 paragraph). If there is a difference, please explain what that was in detail). If there was no difference, please explain that in detail as well. (1 paragraph).- 1page
This assignment does not need references to support it as I am more concerned with what your experience was rather than if there is EBP to support it. If you do use references, please cite them appropriately. Each criteria must have a minimum of one academic paragraph (a minimum of 5 sentences) to address each criteria. That means there should be a minimum of 4 paragraphs for this entry, each is worth 25% of your total grade for this component of the journal.
