The emphasis for week seven will include implementation of EBP in clinical and other settings and motivating individuals, teams and organizations to sustain EBP initiatives. There will be one discussion question in week seven. Students will complete Part 3 “Literature Review and Critical Appraisal of the Literature” in Assignment #1, related to the Signature Assignment in week eight. Assignment #2 will involve a Reflection-in-Action paper.

Week 7: Assignment – Part 3: Literature Review and Critical Appraisal
This week’s first assignment is STEP 3 – Literature Review and Critical Appraisal.
- Provide a title that conveys or describes the assignment.
- Literature Review – Provide the key terms used to guide the search for the evidence and provide at least five (5) summaries of research studies to support the evidence.
- Critical Appraisal of Literature – Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence, what is known from the evidence and any gaps in knowledge from the research evidence.
- References – Cite a minimum of five scholarly references in APA 7th ed format from last 5 years.
