Here state what your project is, how it is going to be implemented, change management tools deployed and why, (in the introduction make sure what you are saying is cited), what framework used like PDSA.

  • Aims and objectives. (250 words)

Remember your objectives should have a timeline of implementation. Here we want to know the steps you will use to achieve your aim. State it is SMART, indicate why we use SMART and cite it. State whether it is structure measured, process measured or outcome measured or either two and why it is so not the other.

1.Choose a particular ward that you think that fits best to the type of essay. To make the work analytical, state why u prefer the ward with citation over other wards. Consider the type of nurses, could it be because they are specialists, or they are more of band 6. Find the reasons!

2. your second objective can be train the nurses. What are the tools you want to use, look into posters, badges with spike nurses written on it as a way to promote the model, consider the training model you will use and critique it. 

3. Implementation of the model into clinical practice. Here look into the period of implementation and  state why you chose it. You talk less about this as ii is more in the main body

Main body (1500 words Refer diagram in appendix)

Although the project is conceived as primarily being a proposal at this point this part of the assignment requires you to think about and plan how the project proposal could be implemented into the practice area and evaluated. It is important therefore to consider the following when preparing / writing the Management Plan. This is where you put into use your change management tools.

  1. Who could lead the change?

Identify an appropriate change agent.

  1. Who else will be involved in the change? (Key Stakeholders).

For example, the key stakeholders involved in the proposed change could be the practice area staff, patients / service-users, carers / relatives, and other health care professionals.

  1. How could the proposed change be communicated to ensure success?

Identify strategies here that could be used by the change agent to communicate the proposed project. (For example, one such strategy could be the organisation of team meeting(s).

  1. How could the proposed change be implemented?
  2. Here you state the nature of the framework you want to use, e.g. PDSA. If using this why, critique it while stating other types of models. Drawing on relevant theory identify a Change Management model and a Leadership Style/Theory that could be applied by the Change Agent to lead the change in the identified practice area and how you can communicate with your team. ( here compare two or three leadership styles and state why you chose one)
  3. What are the potential strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (internal and external) of the proposed project?

This could be presented in the form of a SWOT analysis table. Critique this tool (swot). Refer diagram in appendix 

  1. Time frame – what is the time frame for the implementation of the proposed project?

Illustrate in the form of a Gantt chart how the proposed project could be implemented in the field specific identified practice area. It is permitted to embed the Gantt chart in the Management Plan or alternatively you may present it in the appendices. Also critique Gantt chart. Refer diagram in appendix

Evaluation 500 words

  1. How could the proposed project be evaluated following the period of implementation? Identify an appropriate evaluation tool. For example, this could be a questionnaire. Here you find out is it an open survey of close. Consider the pros and cons.
  2. Think about triangulating the evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative analysis. I want to see why it is important to triangulate your data.

In addition to the academic writing and the inclusion of supporting literature, it is permitted to include tables, graphs and / or diagrams (where appropriate) in the Management Plan.

Conclusion 100

Try to avoid introducing new topics here. 

The conclusion requires you to sum up the key factors / issues that have been discussed in the management plan.
