Center of Mass – Perusall Annotations

Instructions:

Perusall  Assignment 11 :  Class is Physics 1.  I need to post 3 high- quality comments/questions to receive the maximum credit allocated for annotations.  Please highlight /let me know the words you are highlighting on the uploaded document that I uploaded lecture notes  on  Center of Mass. I must highlight a word or words from the text and then comment or ask questions about them. For example, if you chose to write something about external forces. Then let me know on the document  where to find the word, and then underneath when you write external forces the comments/questions about the word or words (external forces)This must be done by the uploaded document. I can only choose words or sentences to highlight and comment on it. So, I will need to know where they are in the text to be able to highlight them on the perusall app. I need a total of 3 high-quality comments/questions to receive the maximum credit allocated for annotations. They must be in my own words, no copying or plagiarism.  So, 3 total is all I need for this assignment. (The professor suggests spending more time on this assignment. Even if you’ve read, watched, or listened to the whole thing already, you’ll get more out of it by asking questions about things you are wondering about, and posting your thoughts or ideas about the content).

Need answer to this question?

Below are examples of classmates’ comments they have written from the lecture notes last week. So you know what kind of questions to ask.

An example from this week’s assignment that you can answer of one of my student’s comments is:

Would that mean that 2 objects coming at each other with different momentums would trade momentums in the opposite direction they were going/same direction of the object the momentum came from? Like if two pool balls were hit with a different force and they came at each other and hit would they go in the opposite direction or would the one with greater momentum continue moving and the one with less momentum stop?

Another classmate’s  example from last week.

What happens if the bounce is interrupted midway back to a zero force? if we still wanted to find the area under the curve would that be possible and if so how would we go about defining the average collision force?
