- Revision (5 minutes):
I will flash all the cards (or use ppt instead) and ask students what the words are and sentences we learned last lesson. (I do)

Then I will choose the students who are slower to review the words and phrases.
- Activity 2— introduce Chinese Mid-autumn festival (10 minutes):
I will play a video about Mid-autumn festival. (I do)
Once the video is over, I will check students’ understanding. I will ask them what kind of features they see in the video. (We do)
Finally, I will summarize the main features and items about this festival . (I do)
- Learn Chinese character “月”(moon) (13 minutes):
This part will be divided into 5 activities.
- Modelling the way to write “月” on the board. (I do)
- Design “月” on the carpet with sticks. (I do)
- Use body to present “月” . (We do)
- Write “月” on the smart board. (You do)
- Choose partners and compete with each other by circling “月” (You do)
- Dance with the video of Mid-autumn festival (2 minutes):
Students will watch a Mid-autumn festival video and dance together. (We do)
