  2. PICOT Question: State your clinical PICOT question on the top of the appraisal template.
  3. Level of Evidence: Determine the level of evidence for the study based on it study design.  Using the evidence pyramid from the library, identify what level your study design would be.  The top of the pyramid is a level 1 and the bottom of the pyramid is level 8.  Enter the corresponding number of your template.

  3. Results (include only those related to your PICOT question)

c.1 Quantitative: The table should include point estimates and confidence intervals. Use p-values to comment on statistical significance. In addition to the data points, include your interpretation of the results related to your PICOT question.

c.2 Qualitative: Include the findings from your study (e.g. themes)

d. Appraisal: The questions to conduct the appraisal are in the fourth column of the template. You will record your answers to those questions in column 5. The CEBM documents are references, which provides guidance on how to answer the questions on the template. They are hyperlinked and include CEBM: Interventional (Therapeutic) (PDF Attached)
